Our Two-Year Model
We’re keeping our first two years lean but fair — focused on learning, steady income, and building strong foundations without overextending.
The aim is to create work opportunities that support whānau, while staying within fair income levels that don’t affect government payments or benefits.
How It Works
Jōy Rider tours pay around $200 cash in the pocket per tour after costs.
Each whānau member or team can run a few tours per month to earn flexible, supplementary income.
All extra revenue goes straight back into paying down our setup costs and saving for a second vehicle to grow the collective.
We’ll review our income and workload quarterly to keep things balanced and sustainable.
The goal isn’t fast growth — it’s lasting stability. We build slowly, together, so our success supports our whānau, not the other way around.
